He Definitely Would Not Believe in Jesus

I will never forget Nelson. He is the only student I remember from the first English conversation class I taught as a new missionary in Taiwan in 1980. What I can't forget was his proclamation from the outset of the class that he definitely would not believe in Jesus. He was simply there to improve his English for the sake of his job. You can imagine the joy we all experienced when three years later, Nelson confessed His trust in Christ as Savior.

Fast-forward to the present and we see a man whom God has grown into a passionate follower of Christ. We see a man who was so moved by the hopelessness of his neighbor who committed suicide by leaping off his roof, that he began praying about planting a church in his neighborhood, where no church yet exists. It is a privilege to join Nelson and his wife Ann, in this, the newest ministry initiative of TEAM Taiwan.
